{"id":1131,"date":"2022-05-01T15:25:46","date_gmt":"2022-05-01T19:25:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leevar.co\/en\/?p=1131"},"modified":"2022-05-01T15:25:47","modified_gmt":"2022-05-01T19:25:47","slug":"setting-an-intention-is-easy-but","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leevar.co\/en\/2022\/05\/setting-an-intention-is-easy-but\/","title":{"rendered":"Why setting an intention is easy, but turning it into reality is hard for some people"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">\u201c70% of Americans who responded to the latest poll said pursuing weight loss goals would be their top priority in the new year (2022)\u201d [ 1 ]\n\n\u201cNearly half (46%) of Americans plan to save their tax refunds this year (2022)\u201d [ 2, 3 ]\n\n\u201cMore than half (51%) of Americans say they are likely to look for a new job in the next 12 months\u201d [ 4, 5 ]\n\nWhen you look at the human desire of \u201cmaking our life better\u201d,\npeople don\u2019t come short of intentions.\n\nYet...\n\nIf you scrath the surface, \nto see what ended up happening to their wishes, \nhere\u2019s the kind of insights you come across :\n\nThe obesity rate went up 50% over the past 18-20 years. \nThat is, \namong American adults. [ 6, 7, 8 ]\n\nAnd only 12% of those who wanted to find a new job, \nin 2021,\ndid end up quitting the one they had for another. [ 9 ]\n\nWill American adults follow through on their intentions, \nthis time ?\n\nDo people tend to follow through on their intentions, \nin general ?\n\nHere\u2019s the short answer: \nIt depends how ready they are to make a choice. \n\nBetween (a) : \nput in the time, \nthe efforts, \nthe money and else that\u2019s required... \nto \u201cget a new job\u201d, \n\u201close the weight\u201d,\nor \u201celse\u201d, \nto come true. \nBecause they think it\u2019s worth it. \n\nOr (b) : \nchoose to keep things the way they are.\n\nCause no one struggles with setting an intention. \nWhen he or she gets to a point where, \nshe believes her work life...\nfor example... \nshould be better than it is right now.\nIn one way or another.\n\nNow, \nthe question is: \nare you at such point in your own life?\n\n\n- - References - - - - - - -<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">[ 1 ] Scott SCANLON &#8211; \u201cWant to lose weight in the new year?
